What you can expect

  • Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Pick up between 7 am and 8:30 am in Nairobi depending with your hotel/apartment location and and join the group to start the group safari. Drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive in the camp in time for lunch.

    At 4.00 pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive ( ON THIS DAY, THE EVENING GAME DRIVE IS OPTIONAL) in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats are extremely high. Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner and a relaxing evening.

    Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

    After breakfast at the camp, leave for a full day of game viewing in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Spend the whole day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park under a Croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

    It's in the Mara that the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (around June to November). Following on the herds are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. Returning to the camp in the late afternoon, enjoy dinner as you swap stories with fellow travelers about the great sights you have seen.

    Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

    Have breakfast at the camp before departing for the return trip to Nairobi. On the way, have the option to visit a Masaai Village to learn about their culture and lifestyle at an extra cost. On arrival in Nairobi ( between 3pm to 4 pm depending with the traffic), you will be dropped at your hotel within the city center or Westland area. Drop off at the airport or hotels not located within Westlands area or city centre at an extra cost of USD 20 for 1-3 people, USD 40 for 4-5 people.
