Confirmed departures only on Friday - Saturday and Sunday.
This tour begins with a pick-up from the Plaza de San Borja, the point in Lima to begin this tour of the province of Huaral. On the way to our first destination we will make a stop so you can have breakfast on your own and then we will continue to the Huando hacienda; which is a hacienda famous for its orange groves.
After visiting this hacienda, we will make a stop at the Velarde winery, where we will taste their exquisite wines and piscos; as well as other liquors made from grapes, apples and honey.
Around 1:00 pm we will stop at a country restaurant in Huaral, where you can have lunch and have the opportunity to taste the traditional “chancho al palo”, a delicious typical dish of the region. We will continue our tour to Chancay, where we will see the exact place where the Covadonga ship sank during the War of the Pacific. We will then enter the Chancay Castle, a mid-20th century palace now transformed into a theme park.
Here you can enjoy its cultural activities before returning to Lima. We will drop you off at the starting point around 7:00 pm.
