Everybody knows that Corfu is steeped in myth and legend.
According to mythology, Poseidon severed the tip of Corfu with his trident and dragged it southwest to create a love nest for his mistress, Amphitrite.
The first stop of the day takes you inside the mysterious sea caves, where legend says Poseidon hid Amphitrite while he was away protecting the Ionian Sea. The caves are truly enchanting, featuring crystal-clear aqua-blue waters and impressive towering formations.
The second stop is Anti-Paxos, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters or simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Few places remain as peaceful and untouched as this idyllic island.
The final stop of the day is Gaios, the capital of Paxos. Often referred to as a millionaires’ paradise and a favorite destination of the rich and famous, Gaios is a lively seaside town filled with shops, bars, and restaurants. It is the perfect place to sample traditional Greek cuisine or shop for unique, locally made souvenirs.
