Your guide will be standing at the meeting point with a banner showing TAIKO, Japanese drum. ★Coming by JR, Exit through Central Exit. ★Coming by subway, Please be sure to exit through Central 1 ticket Gate. After exiting it, take Exit 6 to the ground level. On the ground level, you see Kyoto Tower on your right and JR Kyoto Station building on your left. Please walk along the Kyoto Station building. What you can expect

Meet at Kyoto Station for a 10-minute train ride, followed by an 10-minute ride in the Taiko Studio’s private car to the venue.
First, you’ll get a brief explanation of Taiko’s history, showing its importance in Japanese culture.
Next, you’ll try simple calligraphy, writing your wishes on a Hachimaki (a traditional Japanese headband).
You’ll then watch an amazing powerful Taiko demonstration by a professional player.
After that, a friendly instructor will teach you the basic movements and techniques of Taiko drumming.
Finally, you’ll play a simple piece of music with your fellow participants. It will be a wonderful memory in Japan.

The experience ends with a commemorative photo in traditional Japanese costume, including a Happi and Hachimaki.
