Day 1: Kathmandu to Paro Scenic Flight & Drive to Thimphu
Begin your journey at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu where your included round-trip international flight to Bhutan awaits. Descend the mountain and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, a highly sacred 7th-century Buddhist temple built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. Make a brief photography and cultural stop at Dumtse Lhakhang, a unique chorten-style temple featuring exquisite ancient murals.
