Day 1: Jerusalem – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Petra
Begin with an early morning pickup from Jerusalem and head toward the King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge. After border formalities, meet your local Jordanian guide and begin the journey through Jordan’s dramatic desert landscapes.
Stop in Madaba, the famous City of Mosaics, home to the remarkable 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land. From the panoramic viewpoint, enjoy sweeping vistas over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and, on a clear day, Jerusalem itself.
Continue south along the Desert Highway, through the stunning scenery of southern Jordan, to Wadi Musa, the modern village of Petra. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight in Petra.
Day 2: Petra – Wadi Rum – Eilat
After breakfast, adventure into the legendary Rose-Red City of Petra – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, with a local guide. Make your way to the entrance of the Siq Canyon, either with a relaxed walk or by riding on horseback for a unique and memorable experience.
Walk through the narrow Siq, which dramatically opens to reveal Jordan’s most iconic monument - the Treasury. Guided highlights include the Nabataean Theatre, royal tombs, carved façades, the Colonnaded Street, and more.
Then travel south, reaching the towering mountains and rock formations of Wadi Rum, which mesmerized Lawrence of Arabia. At this UNESCO World Heritage Site, pass by the famous Seven Pillars of Wisdom, and stop briefly at the Visitors Centre before boarding open Bedouin jeeps for an unforgettable 2-hour desert safari.
Explore breathtaking desert landscapes, visit Lawrence’s Spring, and see ancient rock inscriptions at the Ghazali Gorge, guided by a local Bedouin. In the late afternoon, continue south toward the Arava Border, cross into Israel, and transfer to Eilat Bus Station. From here, you can choose to travel by bus from Eilat to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, or decide to stay in Eilat.
