What you can expect

  • Day 1: Tradition, Spirituality, and Heritage

    Start your journey with a pickup from your hotel and travel to Cacica to visit the famous Cacica Salt Mine. Continue to Marginea, a village renowned for its black ceramics, crafted using a unique smothered firing technique passed down through generations.

    Next, visit some of Bucovina’s most iconic monasteries, including Sucevița, Moldovița, and Voroneț, one of the most famous and admired monasteries in the region.

    In the evening, check in at Pensiunea La Bunici, a charming guesthouse with restored traditional cottages at the foot of the mountains, near Humor Monastery. Enjoy a traditional dinner at the guesthouse restaurant.

    Day 2: The Road of Treasures

    After breakfast, head to Pojorâta and begin your journey along the spectacular TransRarău, also known as the “Road of Treasures.” This scenic mountain road connects the Moldova Valley to the Bistrița Valley, offering breathtaking views of the Rarău Massif.

    Enjoy an optional lunch at Cabana Rarău, set in a stunning mountain setting. Afterward, begin your return journey to Iași, with drop-off at your hotel.
