What you can expect

Among the many highlights of this full-day tour are visits to Cong village, a charming rural town where Quiet Man was filmed - The Hollywood classic starring Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne (1st November - 31st March).

From Tuesday to Saturday between April 1st and October 31st the tour will visit the historic silver mines and show farm at Glengowla instead of Cong. Cong will still feature on Sundays / Mondays when Glengowla is closed.

The tour then continues on through some of the most remote landscape in Ireland, and along deserted valleys that offer views of the lakes and mountains of Connemara. Stop at some of the most scenic points in the region.

Later you’ll travel along the coast, admiring the fine views of Galway Bay as you make your way into Galway City. You’ll have a couple of hours to experience Ireland’s coolest city!

In Galway enjoy time at leisure to explore the charming city on your own before returning to Dublin.
