What you can expect

  • Discover the perfect combination of outdoor adventure and relaxation with this tour in Arizona’s Verde Valley, featuring kayaking and wine tasting. Paddle along the Verde River in a kayak and stop at a vineyard for a sommelier-led tasting session. Benefit from the expertise of a guide who offers paddling and safety tips, as well as fascinating information about the river’s flora and fauna.

Begin your kayaking and vineyard tour at Alcantara Vineyards, where you can park and prepare in the on-site changing rooms. A convenient shuttle will then transport you upstream to start your kayaking adventure on the Verde River. Paddle at your own pace, following a pre-planned route.

The kayaking portion ends beneath the Cottonwood trees at the confluence of Oak Creek and the Verde River. From there, you can stroll up the vineyard path to Alcantara Vineyard's Tuscan farmhouse to meet with a sommelier.
