The site is located 51 kilometers south of Hopelchén. Continuing along highway 261 that leads to Hopelchén, you will arrive at the community of Iturbide, in the vicinity of which is Dzibilnocac, a little-known archaeological site where you will find the Painted Vault, a set of mounds, platforms, vaulted buildings, and rooms adorned with masks. of the Mayan god of rain, Chaac. Later, we will visit a Mayan community to meet a group of women dedicated to preserving the sacred melipona bee.
