What you can expect

Celebrate the 250th Anniversary Celebration of “the battle that changed the world”! The Minuteman National Park has undergone a new and major restoration with many special events planned for the 2025 season. Your adventure starts with your experienced tour guide meeting you at one of several convenient Boston stops for pickup. Enjoy a comfortable journey that will transport you back in time to the events of April 1775.

Learn about the history of the beginning stages of the American Revolution. See Cambridge (MIT, Harvard Square, and Harvard College & University), Cambridge Common (where General Washington assumed command of the Continental Army), Washington's Headquarters, and travel much of the original route to Lexington and Concord.

At Lexington Battle Green, see the Buckman Tavern and the iconic Minuteman statue of Captain Parker. Enjoy several scenic stops along Battle Road, maintained by the National Park Service.

Pass by Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House, stop at the Concord Museum (admission included), and see original collections of the Colonial Era, Revolution and American Literary Society. Walk the Old North Bridge in Concord (restored); the location of the “Shot Heard 'Round the World”; heralding the beginning of the American War for Independence on April 19, 1775.

Enjoy the Minute Man National Historical Park Visitor Center (20 minute 3-D movie) to learn about the revolution against Mother England. Explore the battlefields, taverns and homes (restored for the 250th Anniversary) that witnessed the events of that historic day. Hear the stories of the farmers and tradesmen, people and events that gave birth to America. Enjoy lunch (not included) at one of local restaurants in colonial Concord Village. New for 2025: Admission to the Concord Museum, a $25 value, is included.

After walking in America's historic footsteps, your guide will drop you off at your departure point with memories of a lifetime to cherish.
