What you can expect

  • Enjoy an authentically Colombian experience combining the coffee tradition of the Andes with a visit to one of Bogota's most iconic vantage points. This sightseeing tour has been designed for those who want to get to know Colombian coffee culture up close, enjoy spectacular landscapes, and discover some of the region's most representative spots.

The day begins with a pick-up at your accommodation or an agreed meeting point in Bogota. From there, we'll set off on a scenic journey to the municipality of Choachí, located in the Eastern mountains of Cundinamarca. During the journey, you'll be able to appreciate beautiful rural landscapes, Andean forests, and privileged views of the region.

Upon arrival at the coffee farm, you'll be greeted by local hosts who will share with you the secrets of one of the world's most renowned beverages. Through a guided tour, you'll learn about each stage of the coffee production process, from planting the coffee trees and caring for the plants to the manual harvesting of the ripe beans, de-pulping, drying, roasting, and grinding.

The experience is fully interactive, allowing you to tour the crops, learn about the coffee varieties grown in Colombia, and understand the effort and dedication behind each cup. You'll also take part in a tasting where you'll discover the characteristics that make Colombian coffee one of the most appreciated internationally.

After enjoying the coffee experience and the natural surroundings of the estate, we'll return to Bogotà to visit the vantage point of your choice: Monserrate or Cerro de Guadalupe.

If you choose Monserrate, one of the most important symbols of the Colombian capital, you'll make the ascent by cable car or funicular (subject to availability), enjoying breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding mountains. At the top, you'll have time to tour the Sanctuary of the Fallen Lord, explore the cultural and commercial spaces there, enjoy its vantage points, and capture unforgettable photographs of Bogotá from more than 3,100 meters above sea level.

Alternatively, you can visit Cerro de Guadalupe, an iconic place that offers one of the best panoramas of Bogota. There, you can admire the monument of Our Lady of Guadalupe, walk around the shrine, and enjoy a privileged view of the city from the Eastern mountains. This vantage point offers a quieter and more authentic experience, ideal for those who want to enjoy the scenery and take spectacular photos.

The combination of nature, tradition, culture, and unforgettable landscapes makes this experience an excellent option for getting to know one of the most representative regions of Colombia.

This sightseeing tour is ideal for travelers who want to discover the essence of the Colombian countryside, learn firsthand about the coffee culture, and round out the experience with a visit to Bogotá's most iconic vantage points.
