It is the best-preserved example of a European-built fortified city in Asia. Key highlights include the Utrecht Bastion with its lighthouse, built in 1883 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee, and the Protestant Church, built in 1775.

12:00 PM: Proceed to Balapitiya for a scenic experience.
