Drive to Eastern Serbia and visit the medieval monastery of Manasija - also known as Resava, located on the bank of the Resava River. The monastery complex is surrounded by a massive medieval fortress. The monastery of Manasija was built as a mausoleum for Despot Stefan and was decorated with the most valuable materials, but was also the cultural center of medieval Serbia.
Visit Resava Cave to see its red, yellow, and white colors, depending on the minerals through which the water flowed. The temperature in Resava Cave is constant throughout the year and and is + 7 degrees Celsius.
You will then visit Lisine waterfall in the foothills of Mount Beljanica. Just next to the 20 meter-high waterfall is an ethnic restaurant with a small open air gallery. Afterwards, drive to the Ravanica Monastery. Ravanica was built in the late 14th Century and contains the holy relics of Prince Lazar.
