Please note: We do not ride the Glacier Express but follow its iconic route by regional train.
This lets you enjoy the breathtaking landscapes in a more relaxed and authentic way, without the crowds but with spectacular views.

On the way to Brig, travel through the Rhône Valley, admire rolling vineyards, while there explore the charming old town and the impressive Stockalper Palace.

In Zermatt, you can choose between joining your guide for a village walk with breathtaking Matterhorn viewpoints or enjoying free time to explore on your own — for example, by visiting the Gornergrat railway station (ticket not included).

Basel SBB Station (Pass by)
We will meet at Basel SBB train station and then enjoy a scenic 2-hour train ride to Brig. Along the way, you will pass through the lush landscapes of northern Switzerland, travel past the vineyards of the Rhône Valley, and enjoy beautiful views of the Jura mountains and the Bernese Alps in the distance.

While in Brig, we will accompany you on a one-hour visit, sharing the town’s rich history and unique character. As we stroll through the charming old town, you’ll discover its well-preserved squares, elegant townhouses, and traditional architecture. A highlight of our visit is the impressive Stockalper Palace, a masterpiece of baroque style and a symbol of Brig’s prosperity in the 17th century.
Randa (Pass by)
After our visit, we will board a regional train that takes us up the valley to Zermatt, traveling along the same route as the world-famous Glacier Express. On this scenic ride, you will enjoy views of the dramatic Rhône Valley, the rushing Vispa River, and traditional alpine villages such as St. Niklaus and Randa, before arriving in Zermatt at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn.

Our next stop is Zermatt, where we will take a 45-minute break to enjoy lunch in this charming alpine village. Afterward, we’ll continue with a one-hour exploration of the town, strolling through its traditional streets and discovering the unique atmosphere that makes Zermatt so special. A highlight of our visit will be a stop at a classic viewpoint, offering an unforgettable panorama of the majestic Matterhorn — the perfect spot for capturing photos of Switzerland’s most iconic peak.

After our visit in Zermatt, we will make our way back to Basel SBB, once again passing through the stunning alpine scenery. The return journey offers the opportunity to see the landscapes from the other side, revealing new angles of the valleys, rivers, and villages we crossed earlier. Sit back, relax, and take in the final views of Switzerland’s breathtaking mountain world as we head back to our starting point.
