What you can expect

  • Discover the colors and flavors of autumn with a day in Trecchina, a Lucanian village surrounded by woods and chestnut groves.

    After the coach journey, you will arrive at a private chestnut grove for an approximately 2-hour experience surrounded by nature. Stroll among the trees, photograph the colors of the forest, and collect chestnuts right there.

    At the end of the activity, there will be an aperitif with salami, local bread, and a glass of wine.

    The day continues in the center of Trecchina, where the traditional Sagra della Castagna (Chestnut Festival) takes place. Explore the food and wine stands and the markets, listen to music and folk songs, and discover local specialties, from roasted chestnuts to desserts to products made with flour, honey, and chestnut liqueur.

    You will have time for lunch on your own and to experience the atmosphere of the festival before departing for your return trip, scheduled for around 4:00 PM.
