Discover the only excursion that arrives in Montserrat at 7:20 h and spends a lot of time without tourists. We will leave Barcelona by van from 6 : 15 h to 6 : 45 h, with different pick-up points.
From mid-September to mid-February we will see the sunrise.
First we will visit the Abbey and the Black Madonna, without long queues. Then you will have two options:
FIRST : At 8:30 am, we will start a circular hiking trail with wonderful views.
The maximum gradient will be 440 m (1443 ft), with 6.6 km (4.10 miles). The climb will last 1 h. Then, for about two hours, the walk will be quite flat and then we will descend back to the Monastery area.
SECOND : You can walk anywhere you want, but alone. You can take the funicular (cable car under the cabin) from 9:30 am. Anyway, I'll tell you what hiking trails I recommend doing.
At 12: 15h we will return to Barcelona to arrive at 13:30h,
