After leaving Bandol, you will sail along the Var coast to the Bay of La Ciotat, where the eastern entrance to the National Park is located. You will pass between Green Island and the Bec de l'Aigle and visit the Mugel and Figuerolles calanques. You will then head for the Bay of Cassis, following the cliffs of Cape Canaille, where the famous Crested Road winds its way. Once in Cassis, you will head into the heart of the park to visit the calanques of Port Miou, Port Pin, and En Vau, the jewel of the park. After admiring the cliffs of the Calanques de l'Oule and Devenson, you'll take a look (through the glass) at the Calanque de St-Jean de Dieu at the foot of Mont Puget before discovering the small Calanque de Sugiton and, behind it, the famous Marseille cabanons of the Calanque de Morgiou. Your tour will continue in the small calanque of La Triperie, which is home to the Cosquer Cave, located 37 meters below the surface of the water. Before heading back to Bandol, you'll wrap up your day trip with a visit to the largest calanque in the national park, Sormiou.
This excursion is intended to be the most comprehensive way to discover the Calanques National Park.
