Our carefully planned schedule gives you time to explore the interiors of three monasteries, discover panoramic viewpoints and experience Meteora beyond the photos.

    From November to March, the earlier sunset brings one of Meteora’s most beautiful moments within reach of a day trip from Athens. Watch golden light sweep across the immense rock pillars as the sky changes color above the monasteries—a memorable finale to your afternoon, weather permitting.

    Your journey begins at Larissa Station in Athens aboard a modern, air-conditioned coach with free Wi-Fi and USB charging sockets at every seat. Settle in and enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through the Greek countryside.

    Break up the journey with brunch just steps from the beach at Camino Restaurant in Kamena Vourla. Enjoy coffee or a light meal with open sea views and time to stretch your legs. An easy pre-ordering system available directly from the bus helps you spend your break enjoying the setting.

    Around 13:00, arrive in Kastraki, beneath Meteora’s dramatic cliffs, for an optional traditional Greek lunch at Efrosino Restaurant before your exploration begins.
