Our adventure begins at 6:00 AM with a scenic 120-km drive west along the national road. Our first stop is the incredible Lemurs Park, a private reserve where you'll have the chance to observe various lemur species up close. Meet the playful Black and white ruffed Lemur, the curious Common brown Lemur, and many more fascinating lemurs.
After an hour-long guided tour, we'll continue our journey towards Analavory and then north to the awe-inspiring Geysers of Andranomandroatra. Witness the power of nature as these geysers erupt before our eyes.
Next, we'll make our way south to the charming village of Ampefy, where you'll have time to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included). After lunch, we'll visit the picturesque Lily Waterfall and explore the surrounding village.
As the day winds down, we'll begin our return journey to the capital. Depending on traffic conditions, we aim to reach Antananarivo by 7 PM. We can drop you back at your hotel or transfer you directly to the airport, ensuring a convenient end to your exciting day trip.
ITINERARY:
6:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel or desired location in Antananarivo.
7:00 AM: Drive for approximately 1 hour to Lemurs' Park.
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Guided tour of Lemurs' Park, where you will have the opportunity to observe various lemur species up close.
9:00 AM: Depart from Lemurs' Park and drive for approximately 2 hours to Analavory.
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit the Cold Geyser at Analavory and enjoy stunning countryside views.
12:00 PM: Drive to Ampefy village for a delicious lunch (not included).
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM:
Visit the local village near Lily Waterfall and learn about the culture and daily life of the Malagasy people.
4:00 PM: Depart from Ampefy village and begin the return journey to Antananarivo.
7:00 PM (approx.): Drop off at your hotel or directly to the airport, depending on your preference.
