Andong is a primary center of Joseon Confucian culture, where Neo-Confucianism shaped society through education, morality, and social harmony.

• Hahoe Folk Village – Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and see preserved Confucian family traditions and village life.
• Hahoe Mask Dance & Cultural Highlights – Enjoy a traditional mask dance performance combining humor and satire, or explore local cultural highlights such as a Traditional Hanji Paper Factory or the Andong Soju & Traditional Food Museum.
• Byeongsan Seowon – Visit one of Korea’s finest Confucian academies where scholars studied philosophy and moral character.
• Bongjeongsa Temple – Discover ancient Buddhist traditions and historic wooden architecture at this peaceful mountain temple.
• Wolyeonggyo Bridge – End the day with a relaxing walk across Korea’s longest wooden pedestrian bridge, a celebrated symbol of eternal love, enjoying the scenic river views and serene twilight atmosphere.

Day 2: Gyeongju – The World of Silla Buddhism
Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Silla, reveals how Buddhism profoundly influenced spiritual life, architecture, and artistic achievements.

• Bulguksa Temple – Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and see how Silla Buddhists expressed their ideal world through stone craftsmanship.
• Seokguram Grotto – Admire the magnificent stone Buddha and learn how Buddhist philosophy and craftsmanship came together.
• Daereungwon & Cheomseongdae – Discover Silla royal tombs and one of East Asia’s oldest surviving astronomical observatories.
