Day 1: Callejón de Huaylas / Campo Santo de Yungay / Llanganuco Lagoon / Caraz / Taricá
Arrival in the city of Huaraz, reception at the terminal and transfer to the chosen hotel.Breakfast at the hotel.Tour through the Callejón de Huaylas, north of Huaraz, passing and appreciating the picturesque Andean villages and the unique beauty of the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra. You will visit the provinces of Carhuaz, Mancos Yungay and finally you will arrive to the Huascaran National Park, where you will have a horse or boat ride, take a short walk around these two lagoons, then you can delight your palate acquiring some typical dishes that the local people offer near the place. We will arrive to the city of Caraz, there you can visit small factories of dairy products and other products of the region.on the way back to Huaraz we will visit the handicraft center Taricá, demonstration of a handicraft factory.around 7:30 p.m arrival to Huaraz.
Day 2: Chavin Archaeological Monument / Querococha Lagoon / Chavin National Museum
Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 a.m. We will visit the towns of Callejón de Huaylas and the Conchucos Valley. On this trip we will pass through Recuay, Ticapampa and Cátac, arriving at the Querococha Lagoon where the bus will make a stop for tourists to appreciate and take souvenir photographs.The tour continues its journey this time will pass through the impressive Cahuish Tunnel (4,550 m.a.s.l. and 480 m long). You will also visit the picturesque villages of: Máchac, Quercos, and finally you will arrive to the Archaeological Monument of Chavín, the famous Cabezas Clavas, the sandy area of Chavín, the façade of Falcónidas, galleries, plazas and the National Museum of Chavín.7:30 pm: Arrival to Huaraz.
Day 3: Nevado Pastoruri / Cave Paintings / Puya Raimondi (New Route of the Climate Change)
8:30 a.m. Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 a.m. We will visit the Patococha lagoon, the sparkling waters of Pumashim, the Puya Raimondi (the most beautiful exponent of the high Andean flora), and cave paintings. Finally we will take a short hike to see the famous Pastoruri snow-capped mountain. 5:30 pm: Arrival in Huaraz, transfer to the bus terminal.
