Discover two of the most important attractions in the province of Misiones, Argentina, on a full-day tour combining history, culture, and natural treasures.
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu, followed by a journey to the Wanda Mines.
During an approximately 1-hour visit, explore the region's mineral formations and discover gemstones such as agate, amethyst, topaz, jasper, and different varieties of quartz. The visit includes access to the tunnels, exhibition areas, and a local shop where you can purchase jewelry and gemstones. Purchases are optional and not included in the tour price.
Next, the group will continue to the Jesuit Ruins of San Ignacio. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, the complex preserves stone structures that tell part of the history of the Jesuit missions in South America.
During the visit, admire the Baroque-inspired architecture, learn about the history of the mission founded in 1632, and enjoy the light and sound show, subject to the attraction's schedule and availability.
After visiting both attractions, the return journey to Foz do Iguaçu will begin.
