We'll start from the Forte dei Marmi Tyrrhenian cycle path, then we'll take the new Cinquale cycle path and enter Via Romantica, which leads us along the banks of the Versilia River. After a 4 km “dance” on the dirt road, you'll arrive at the lake, which you can admire from the top of the embankments.
The path along the lake is easy, and you can alternate it with stretches of paved road.
The whole route winds along for about 17 km. You can change the route by heading south to Forte dei Marmi or north to Poveromo (to see Alpebella Villa Bocelli, the former 1960s dance club)
