Overview

  • Forest Mind is a Finnish well-being method including various types of relaxation and mindfulness. Utilising the natural healing effects of nature.
    While on this short journey with the guide, you will hike about three kilometres and enjoy a warm drink by a fire or on a gas stove, depending on whether a forest fire warning is in place.
    We will also perform some mindfulness tasks along the way.

    This type of tour is perfect for those wanting to venture into nature and do some fun exercises to help bring you a little closer to nature.

    This will be held in Kauppi forest, and it is easily accessed by Bus number 2, and the meeting point will be the well-known sauna car park at Rauhaniemi.

    You're welcome to bring your dogs along :) (just let us know in advance)

Rauhaniemi

We meet at the car park at Rauhaniemi Sauna and then take a walk through the forest. Along the way we learn about nature, see some beautiful views and practice some forest mind exercises. Mindfulness is part of this tour and helping to see nature a little closer.

Kaupinojan uimaranta

As we carry on our journey we pass by a public beach and Sauna where we learn some history of the ways of the sauna. Ending up at out resting area. Here we will make a warm drink over an open fire (gas stove if there is a forest fire warning active)

We then head back to our meeting point taking a slightly different route. It is also possible if you wish to leave by tram we can head to the tram stop instead of the starting location bus stop.
