Hi, my name is Elie, I bring decades of historical knowledge, deep interests in urban geographic matters, popular culture, and a passionate love for NYC. This tour , on another major platform carries a near five star rating, and I’m excited about being on the platform!

Even as a ten year old, i pondered NYC's 400th anniversary in 2024-25. As a student at Columbia, my degree would be in Urban Geography. While in college, i started my own NYC touring business. For over 20 years, my professional interactions with people have been centered around large events ranging from dance parties to 72 wine-tastings, featuring over 21,000 attendees. My presentations combine the old with the new. With visits to over 65 countries, and a particular focus on cities, there's a reflection on the ways that NYC links itself to the ancient places of the world, yet, singularly maintaining a unique identity. Here’s what and where this Epic Hike Tour will take you…

Join me on a most glorious urban hike tour through several key famous areas of Manhattan which also includes a magnificent ferry ride that captures the coastal dimensions of NYC, while viewing the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and a brief moment on Staten Island. We will begin at the Ferry Building, followed by where NYC began her history in 1624, as well as where the government and presidency of the United States first came into existence. The world's largest financial district, and stock exchange, then the most historic tavern and church will lead us to a short subway ride that will begin our SoHo, and NoLita portion, followed by a subway ride to Midtown, and entering the majestic Grand Central Terminal, followed by the NY Public Library, and ending at magical Bryant Park.

All this, and we will only cover three and a half miles. This urban hike trail is easy for all, as it is flat and the subway is utilized twice. Midway on the tour, we will make a brief stop for something to snack and drink…
