Spend a day (or an afternoon) surrounded by nature and flavors with a cooking class on a real farm in Vico Equense. In a lush, scenic setting surrounded by the countryside, you will discover local ingredients and transform them into a complete meal, with step-by-step guidance.
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours and is divided into three parts. It begins with a welcome and a tour of the farm: you will explore the vegetable garden and the crops grown, with a focus on the lemon grove and the traditional “Sorrento pergola.” You will also visit the workshop where oil preserves and liqueurs are produced and processed, and you will be able to see the farm shop, which offers both fresh and processed products.
Then it's time to get behind the stove for the cooking class. You will prepare bruschetta with Sorrento tomatoes, take part in a limoncello workshop, and knead fresh pasta to make scialatiello with Nerano sauce (zucchini and Provolone del Monaco PDO). You will also learn how to prepare and fry zucchini flowers stuffed with fresh Vico Equense ricotta cheese, and you will finish with Caprese cake, a traditional Campanian dessert.
The activities conclude with lunch or dinner featuring the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by water, house wine (white and red), and a glass of prosecco. To round it all off in style, you'll enjoy a moment of relaxation with limoncello spritz by the pool.
The service includes pick-up from Vico Equense train station: the provider will contact you the day before to confirm the details of the meeting point.
