Activity itinerary

Pendennis Point

  • 10m
A 5 minute drive from the docks we will stop here to discuss the day's itinerary and take in the view of both Falmouth Bay to the west and St Mawes to the east across the estuary.

Lizard Peninsula

  • 30m
We will drive down the spine of the Lizard peninsula to Lizard village, which is the most southerly in the UK, boasting spectacular views. It also has unique gift shops, cafes and of course the world famous Ann's Pasty shop! St Wynwallows Church was founded in 600 AD and we will pay this a visit too.

Cadgwith Cove

  • 15m
Just wow! A working fishing village with boats pulled up on the beach. a pub and many thatched roofed cottages. Get your cameras ready and perhaps even buy a freshly made fish sandwich!

Poldhu Cove

  • 15m
The Marconi Monument sits up high on the cliffs at Mullion overlooking Poldhu Cove and is the site of the first transatlantic radio signal back in 1901. Great history and wonderful views.

Marazion

  • 15m
Marazion makes the claim to be the oldest town in Cornwall, having a charter granted in 1257. This quaint and ancient village also provides amazing views of St Michael's Mount, the castle in the sea! We will stop here for photo opportunities.

Porthleven Harbour

  • 40m
Porthleven is a working fishing harbour and is the most southerly 'Port' in Great Britain. The Ship Inn has overlooked the harbour since around 1805 and the harbourside cafes provide a great opportunity to sample a Cornish Cream tea. Gift stores and a craft market provide further opportunities to purchase that item you can't live without!

Cape Cornwall (Pass by)

Depending on time we may also visit Mousehole, Sennen Cove and the Cape Cornwall area. We can make this plan on the day or even as we go along!
