The Residency: Tamdhu offers unique, behind-the-scenes insight into the world of the whisky maker. This was the most sought-after ticket at the world-famous 'Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival' and we’ve moved it, lock, stock and four outstanding casks, 163-miles south to the award-winning Rosebank, our sister distillery in Falkirk.

Rosebank Distillery is easy to reach, just 30-minutes by train from Edinburgh Waverley and 20-minutes from Glasgow Queen Street. This is a 90-minute whisky experience which includes a short tour of the distillery, followed by an exciting, hands-on activity where you'll produce your very own bottle of single malt whisky to take home.

After a guided tour of Rosebank Distillery and warehouse, you'll step into the spectacular Academy Room. Here you'll sample four world-class Tamdhu single casks, handpicked by Distillery Manager Sandy McIntyre from the Tamdhu warehouse. Each cask showcases the dedication to our exclusive Spain-to-Speyside sherry maturation story. You'll be guided through a tutored tasing to understand flavour and each cask’s role in it, and then you'll learn the hidden art of the whisky maker, combining the casks to create your very own Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Whisky. This is a unique, 'one of one' creation, which you'll bottle at 20cl, with a personalised label and wax seal.
