What you can expect

Welcome to the captivating island of Grenada, affectionately known as the “Spice Isle” for its intoxicating aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. Your full-day Discover Grenada tour begins with a warm Caribbean greeting in the capital city of St. George’s at 8:00 AM.

As you stroll through the charming streets, you’ll be swept up in the island’s vibrant spirit, marked by colourful buildings, smiling faces, and the lingering scent of spices in the air. Your first stop is the historic Fort George, which is perched high above the bay. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the horseshoe-shaped harbour below while learning about the fort’s 18th-century colonial history.

Next, we will visit the bustling St. George’s Market, where you can interact with friendly vendors and explore stalls brimming with tropical fruits, handcrafted souvenirs, and bags of freshly ground nutmeg and cocoa. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing walk along the Carenage waterfront, where fishing boats bob gently, and the atmosphere is alive with island life. Don’t forget to snap some postcard-worthy photos and take in the charm of this coastal promenade, lined with quaint boutiques and cafés.

By noon, we will pause for a leisurely Caribbean lunch at a local restaurant from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Here, you can savour Grenadian favourites like Oil Down, the national dish, or freshly grilled fish served with local provisions and callaloo. Let the rich flavours and warm hospitality nourish both your body and soul.

In the afternoon, we journey inland to the heart of the island’s rainforest. At Grand Etang National Park from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the air cools, and the landscape transforms into lush greenery. You will visit the tranquil Grand Etang Lake, a crater lake nestled in an extinct volcano, often frequented by Mona monkeys and tropical birds. Following this, we will head to the enchanting Annandale Waterfall, a serene cascade surrounded by ferns and flowering plants—perfect for a refreshing dip or simply soaking in the tranquillity of nature.

The adventure continues with a guided tour of a spice plantation, where you'll walk among nutmeg trees, cinnamon bark, and cocoa pods. Discover how Grenada’s spices are grown, harvested, and transformed into delightful products. You will have the chance to taste locally made cocoa tea, inhale fragrant spice oils, and purchase authentic souvenirs directly from the source.

By 5:00 PM, we will return you to your hotel, with your heart full and your camera roll overflowing with memories. The sights, sounds, and scents of Grenada will linger with you long after you leave—an unforgettable slice of paradise.
