Join us on a full-day excursion from Brussels to discover three of Belgium's most emblematic cities: Antwerp, Ghent, and Bruges.
Before leaving the capital, we'll take a panoramic tour of some of the most surprising and least visited areas of Brussels, allowing us to discover a different side of the city. During the tour, we'll see impressive places such as the National Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Koekelberg, one of the largest churches in the world, as well as other neighborhoods and monumental avenues off the beaten tourist track.
Our first stop will be Antwerp, a city linked to the painter Rubens and recognized worldwide as the diamond capital. During the visit, we'll see some of its most emblematic places, such as the Grote Markt, the Town Hall, the Cathedral of Our Lady, and the former commercial heart of a city that was one of the most important economic centers in Europe.
We'll continue to Ghent, one of the medieval jewels of Flanders and the birthplace of Emperor Charles V. During the guided visit, we'll tour its spectacular historic center, where the highlights include the Cathedral of St. Bavo, the Ghent Belfry, the Church of St. Nicholas, the historic quays of Graslei and Korenlei, and the imposing Castle of the Counts of Flanders, while discovering the history of a city that came to rival the most powerful in Europe during the Middle Ages.
The last stop will be Bruges, considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and one of the best-preserved medieval complexes on the continent. You'll discover iconic places such as the Market Square (Markt), the Belfry of Bruges, Burg Square, its romantic canals, and its charming cobblestone streets full of history and tradition.
