    Experience the complete India Dormida trail on a private hike through the heart of El Valle de Antón, one of Panama’s most unique mountain destinations.

    The 6.3 km trail takes you through the interior of an ancient volcanic crater, with sections of lush forest, natural streams, rocky and uneven terrain, and beautiful mountain landscapes. Along the way, your local guide will share information about Panama and El Valle, including local history, legends, culture, and the natural environment.

    The route includes a visit to La Piedra Pintada, where you can see pre-Columbian petroglyphs, before continuing toward La Cruz Viewpoint. From the higher sections of the trail, enjoy panoramic views of El Valle, the surrounding mountains, and the countryside.

    This is a genuine mountain hike and some sections can be physically demanding. The pace can be adapted to your group, with your guide providing assistance and guidance throughout the route. Taking your time is encouraged so you can enjoy the scenery, learn about the area, and experience the trail safely and comfortably.
