Start with a theoretical explanation of the board’s handling, then go up to the board lying face down to maximize balance. By accelerating and giving speed to the controller, you can get down on your knees. Once you're confident, you can stand up on the board and give it more speed, watching you improve the technique. Take advice from your instructor as you go through the activity.

Then, accompanied by a monitor from a support vessel, you'll start to slide and gradually... fly.
