What you can expect
Head out from Alba at 9:00 a.m. (meet at 8:45 a.m. in Piazza Adolfo Sarti, in front of Hotel I Castelli) for an exciting adventure through the hills of the Langhe and Roero♀️✨. Riding an e-bike, you'll discover breathtaking landscapes, charming villages, and castles overlooking vineyards, with stories to hear at every turn.
Depending on what the group wants, we can explore just the Langhe, just the Roero, or offer a balanced mix of both.
⠀
On your journey through the Langhe, you'll come across:
Roddi – a medieval village with a castle and views that open up beyond the hills
Verduno – from its viewpoint, you can take in a unique panorama; here, the historic Burlotto e Figli winery tells the story of hundreds of years of winemaking tradition
La Morra – the 'terrace of the Langhe', with vineyards as far as the eye can see and the famous Colorata del Barolo Chapel
Barolo – the heart of wine, with the castle home to the WiMu (Wine Museum), an emotional journey through wine and landscape
Castiglione Falletto – dominated by the castle and surrounded by vineyards that produce fine crus
Grinzane Cavour – a castle tied to Count Cavour and the outdoor 'In Vigna Museum' with amazing scenery
Barbaresco – famous for its fine wine, and enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards and the historic medieval tower.
Neive – one of Italy's most beautiful villages, with its charming streets and vineyards, will immerse you in the authentic Langhe, blending tradition and unforgettable landscapes
Treiso – a little gem in the Langhe, welcomes you with its quiet streets and views of the hills covered with vineyards
In Roero, you'll find:
Govone – the impressive Savoy castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with frescoes and flower gardens
Magliano Alfieri – a spectacular view of the Tanaro valley, with museums that tell the story of ancient farming traditions
Castellinaldo – a village frozen in time, with a medieval castle nestled among the vineyards
Castagnito – cobbled alleys, quiet squares, and a subtle charm that wins you over
Guarene – check out the Savoy castle and two amazing viewpoints: one towards Roero, one towards the Langhe
Vezza d'Alba – The medieval tower still stands tall and looks like it's protecting the village from above
Corneliano d'Alba - The old medieval tower, the town's symbol, has been a silent witness to centuries of battles and trade.
Each stop is packed with fascinating tales, ancient stories, and local secrets that bring the places, castles, and vineyards to life. In the afternoon, we've got a wine tasting in the cellar, where you can savor the area's most famous wines and dive into the local flavors✨.
We'll head back to Alba between 5:00 and 6:00 PM, depending on the group's pace and the experiences we've had.
The tour includes e-bike rental, helmet, and bike transport to the starting point, giving you an authentic and carefree experience filled with nature, beauty, and flavor.
