Your experience begins by choosing a beautiful yukata to wear for photos. Yukata can be worn easily over your clothes, so there is no need to change completely. Next, you will make traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi) in creative seasonal shapes together with your host. While working together, you’ll also try a playful Japanese tea guessing game. Then you will learn the basics of Japanese tea ceremony and matcha preparation. Using traditional tools, your host will teach you how to prepare and pour matcha yourself so you can experience what it feels like to be the tea ceremony host.
