Leaving Dingle, the tour climbs the Conor Pass, the highest road in Ireland, where we can capture a range of wonderful panoramic vistas. Travelling along smaller lanes and backroads, we visit many amazing locations on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula including the atmospheric church ruins at Cloghane and the Fairy Glen. Following visits to some intriguing spots along this sandy coastline, we’ll take a steep and narrow mountain pass from Camp, passing below Caherconree Promontory Fort. As we continue to wind along the backroads and narrow lanes, we’ll stop at many more fantastic locations and take in amazing vistas, well away from the main roads, during our journey back to Dingle.
As this is a genuine photography and sightseeing tour led by a landscape and nature photographer, I will provide ongoing tuition and tips to improve your holiday photography with any camera or mobile phone. I am also happy to take photos of you and your group during this tour, using your camera or phone.
All the locations we visit are easily accessible using paths from the minibus and there's no strenuous walking or climbing involved.
