What you can expect

Begin your excursion once you are picked up by your driver from Udaipur hotel at 9:00am. Board the chauffeur driven car and leave for the Dilwara Temples and Mount Abu. It is a 3 hours drive with a distance of approximately 150km away from Udaipur city. Your English speaking tour guide will also join you in Mount Abu.

Explore the Dilwara Temples, built in 11th century and dedicated to the Jainist Tirthankara. It is completely made of marble and houses five small temples. Take a walk and notice the staggering features, intricate carvings, incised paintings, carved pillars, mandaps, arches, and beautified ceilings.

The five temples are:

• Vimal Vasahi dedicated to Lord Rishabha

• Luna Vasahi, dedicated to Lord Neminatha

• Pithalhar, dedicated to Lord Rishabha.

• Parshvanath, dedicated to Lord Parshvanatha

• Mahavir Swami, dedicated to Lord Mahavira

After tour of the temple, you will be driven to Mt Abu for lunch. It is located 2.5km away and is only hill station in Rajasthan. Relish a filling lunch in the local restaurant followed by quick tour of Mt Abu. Afterwards, you will be driven back to Udaipur city with drop off at your booked hotel.
