Overview

  • During this full-day experience, you will be able to become familiar with some well-known Italian brands and delicacies born in Emilia-Romagna.
    We will pick you up with a minivan directly at your place in Bologna, Modena or Florence (please choose a correct tour option) in the morning and let your perfect day begin. We will visit local producers to learn something new about the production processes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Lambrusco sparkling wine. After all the tours, you’ll taste the products to discover their typical flavors.
    Your experience wouldn't be complete without visiting Ferrari Museum, so to see the most famous supercar brand of all time, Ferrari. And, of course, without having lunch in a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area.
    At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to your place.

    • When you select option "NO TRANSFER-Full day own car", it means that no pickup or transfer between the locations are included. You will need a car to take the tour with this option.
    • Pickup from a meeting point will be from P.za XX Settembre, the square in front of NH De La Gare hotel's main entrance, just a 5-minute walk from Bologna central train station. The van leaves at 08:55 am, and will not wait for late comers. If you arrive late to the meeting point because of train or other transportation delays, we won’t be able to accommodate you, to send a refund or to reschedule the tour to another day. We kindly suggest planning extra time for your journey to avoid any issues.

DAIRY FARM / We will start our tour with a guided visit at a cheese factory and learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. The visit will be held directly by the local producer's staff, so none of your questions will remain non answered. The tour will be followed by the tasting of different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese together with freshly made ricotta.

WINERY / After, we will enjoy a visit to a local winery and take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about Lambrusco, a sparkling wine from northern Italy.

BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA / Then we will continue with a visit to an “Acetaia” and discover the production of the famous “black gold”, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour.
