Your Sob7iyé experience begins in Beirut, where guests will meet at a designated meeting point before heading together by van to the beautiful mountain village of Dahr El Sawan located around 25 minutes away from the city.
Once arrived, guests will be welcomed into a peaceful garden setting where the morning begins with traditional Lebanese coffee and an introduction to the culture and rituals behind a Lebanese breakfast.
Throughout the experience, guests will learn about and taste a variety of authentic breakfast staples including labneh & jibneh baladiyeh (local cheeses), makdous, balila, foul mdammas, hummus, variety of freshly baked saj manakish, kishk soup, and debbes with tahini dessert (a traditional blend of carob molasses and sesame paste).
This is a relaxed, hands-on cultural experience focused on food, hospitality, storytelling, and the Lebanese way of gathering around the table.
At the end of the experience, the van will transport guests back to the original Beirut meeting point.
A selection of homemade products and local ingredients will also be available for guests who wish to take a piece of the experience home with them.
