The Humantay Lagoon is located 25 kilometers from the district of Mollepata, province of Anta, department of Cusco. Visiting this Lagoon will take you approximately 2 hours one way and one hour return because it is located at an altitude of 4200 meters above sea level.

Itinerary

Cusco – Mollepata

We will be going through your accommodation where you are staying, preferably located within the historic center of Cusco, the pick up starts from 04:00 a.m. to 05:00 a.m.

Then we will go to the northwest of Cusco, to the district of Mollepata where we will have our first stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Mollepata – Challacancha

Then we will continue in our mobility to the parking lot (Challacancha), from where our walk will begin.

Later we will have a walk of approximately 2 hours until we reach the Humantay Lagoon, upon arrival we will have enough time to take pictures and explore a large part of the place.

After that we return by the same route to Challacancha to return to Mollepata.

Mollepata – Cusco

Arrived at the Mollepata district we will have a buffet lunch in a picturesque restaurant.

Finally, once the tour is over, we will return to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival time is 6:00 p.m.
