Culurgiones course in Ogliastra: A journey between tradition and taste!
With more than forty years of experience in the Ogliastra pasta-making industry, Lidia Muceli, owner of Jerzu's first pasta factory, will take you on a journey of discovery of Culurgiones d'Ogliastra, amid history, tradition and authentic flavors.
The Culurgiones in Ogliastra course takes place on a wonderful estate nestled in the Jerzu countryside, where, before you get your hands in the dough, Lidia will tell you about the origins of this delicacy, from its birth to the present day. This will be followed by the preparation of the filling, explained step by step, with a focus on traditional ingredients such as su fiscidu or casu e fitta. You will then learn the spighitta closure, the distinctive feature that makes the real Culurgiones d'Ogliastra unique.
At the end of the class you will be able to taste the culurgiones made during the course, accompanied by a glass of wine and other traditional products.
An experience for all
The Culurgiones in Ogliastra course is open to participants of all ages, starting at age 4. You do not need to bring anything: we will provide a kitchen apron and chef's cap. During the class, we offer fresh water or our Cannonau wine, for a complete immersion in the flavors of our land.
