Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm The Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is an international certification in first aid for remote areas, designed for guides, rescuers, and adventurers. It is the most comprehensive course for wilderness first aid, preparing participants to handle medical and trauma emergencies when access to hospitals is limited or delayed.

Day 2: May 22, 2026: Huaraz – Indoor Climbing Wall – Technical review and operational fundamentals

Schedule: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Activities include the installation of the training center, technical equipment inspection, practice of knots, rope systems, and operational basics essential for safe mountain interventions.

Day 4: May 24, 2026: Huaraz – Nevado Mateo Glacier (4,900 m) – High-altitude glacier training
