Check-out from Nice towards Saint-Laurent-du-Var, gateway to the Nice hinterland. A quick passage that marks the transition between the hustle and bustle of the coast and the first mountain roads that lead to the perched villages.

Saint Jeannet

Crossing the picturesque village of Saint-Jeannet, dominated by the impressive Baou rock rising to 800 metres. One of the most photographed landscapes of the azurean hinterland, with its typical alleys nestled at the foot of the limestone cliff.

Vence

Stop in the charming city of Vence, a city of art and history known for its medieval old town, cathedral and past linked to great artists like Matisse. A beautiful glimpse of authentic Provence before the ascent to the Col de Vence.

Stop in the heart of the Gorges du Loup, on the classified site of the Saut du Loup, in Courmes. A secure gazebo will allow you to admire the "Great Marmite", a natural basin carved by the erosion of the river over millennia, as well as the surrounding waterfalls nestled in lush vegetation. Your Guide will share the geological history of this remarkable site before letting you enjoy the panorama and take your photos. A refreshing break in the middle of nature.

Tourrettes-sur-Loup

Arrival in Tourrettes-sur-Loup by one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region: the houses of the village, hanging on the cliff side, seem to hang above the valley of the Wolf. A must-see photo stop before strolling along the Grand'Rue, a half-moon thoroughfare where about thirty workshops of artists and craftsmen — potters, jewelers, ceramicists — have gathered to live this medieval village nicknamed the "City of Violets". A more confidential and artisanal atmosphere, far from the most frequented sites in the region.

Gourdon

Stop at the top of the hilltop village of Gourdon, on Place Victoria — one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the French Riviera.
