On Tuesdays, we offer public tours and will take you out the door to the Red Mountain Open Space on the Salt Lick Trail. This crowd-pleasing route offers a range options for a casual snowshoe. The trail is right out the back door from the CAG headquarters in Silverthorne, where you will shoeing minutes after your arrival. This series of trails pass through stands of lodgepole pine and aspen, and you are greeted with amazing views of Lake Dillon, the Continental Divide the surrounding areas.
