Overview

This tour is special because it will allow you to get to know the charming Colca valley in 2 days, making the excursion to different points and tourist attractions.

You will have a night of accommodation in Chivay, surrounded by a beautiful valley, having a different night and away from the city.

You will appreciate the flight of the condor according to the season and many natural viewpoints.

With an additional cost you can use the hot springs and enjoy a typical food buffet lunch in the Colca Valley.

At the end of the two-day excursion, we will disembark in the city of Puno, ready for you to continue your visit to the other attractions that our country of Peru has.

Remember that the departure is the first day approximately 8:00 am and ends in Puno at approximately 7:30 pm, a city that is on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the most navigable lake in the world. Here you and with all the guidance from us can go to your own hotel.

Day 1: Arequipa - Colca

Arequipa

I pick up from the different hotels in the city and we go out along one of the busiest avenues in Arequipa, in addition to getting to know little by little the culture of our city.

Patahuasi

The area behind Misti, here we can buy some souvenirs and have a nice Coca tea. This stop is for travelers to get accustomed little by little to the altitude of the place and also so they can use the bathroom at this point.

Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve

We will know a small part of the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, if we are lucky we will be able to observe some camelids very close to us, in other cases we will see them at a reasonable distance.

Abra Patapampa

A place of 4900 meters of altitude, here there are thaws, snow depending on the season and you can see some volcanoes and snow-capped mountains that surround the city.

Chivay

Arriving in Chivay, we will have free time to eat, optionally you can go with the guide to eat the typical Colca buffet.

Chivay

After lunch, we will take you to your respective hostel in Chivay. Comfortable hostel, private bathroom, hot water and breakfast the next day.

After a time of rest, we meet passengers to take them to the hot springs, where they will be able to enjoy a beautiful landscape and natural waters in the local pools.

Chivay

At night, optionally you can enjoy a typical dance show accompanied with dinner, this has an extra cost, but the dances are representations of the place. After that and some indications from the guide, you free time, then you must go to sleep early since the next day you must get up for breakfast from 5:30 am. They go to the hotel on their own, it is easy to locate it in the small town of Chivay.

Colca Canyon

In the morning they have breakfast and then we go to the main point of the Colca Canyon, where you can observe the depth of the Canyon and appreciate the flight of the Condors in a magical and beautiful environment. It should be noted that the months with the highest influx of condors are between June and August, ideal months for traveling.

Mirador Antahuilque

Natural viewpoint on the side of the road on the way back from La Cruz del Cóndor, where we will be able to appreciate countless platforms made from ancient times.

Chivay
