What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival in Chongqing

Begin your journey with a convenient pickup from the airport or train station. Check into your hotel in Chongqing and relax for the evening.

Day 2: Wulong Scenic Area

Start your day with a visit to the Wulong Scenic Area. Stop at the Wujiang Gallery Viewing Platform, a perfect spot to admire the stunning mountain and river views. Continue to Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, known as the “First Pasture of the South” and the “Oriental Switzerland.” Enjoy the vast grasslands and cool summer temperatures, or experience the snowy landscapes in winter.

Next, head to the Three Natural Bridges, the world's largest and highest natural bridge cluster. Marvel at the majestic Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong bridges, and explore the unique karst landscape with its clear springs, deep pools, and caves.

Day 3: Dazu Rock Carvings

Travel to the Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the intricate Buddhist sculptures, including the Thousand-Hand Guanyin, the Six Realms of Rebirth, and the Oxherding Pictures, all carved into the cliffs during the Southern Song Dynasty.

Day 4: Chongqing City Tour

Begin your city tour with a ride on the Yangtze River Cableway, a unique mode of transportation and a city landmark. Visit the Liziba Viewing Platform to see the famous “train through the building” spectacle, where the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2 passes through a residential building.

Explore Ciqikou Ancient Town, a thousand-year-old town rich in Bayu culture and religious heritage. Stroll along Huangjueping Graffiti Art Street, a vibrant street filled with colorful murals created by the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

Visit the Zhongshuge Bookstore, a popular spot known for its mountain city-inspired design, with mirrored ceilings and tiered bookshelves creating a magical “sea of books” atmosphere. End your day at Hongya Cave, a bustling area with traditional architecture and stunning night views.

Day 5: Departure
