Come with us to discover Chikubushima Island on Lake Biwa during this four-hour walking and public transportation tour!

Meet us at Kyoto Station, and let's go! We'll head to Imazu Port on the shores of Lake Biwa. Lake Biwa is the largest lake in Japan and the third oldest lake in the world. You'll be able to contemplate this witness to the planet's geological age.

We'll then take the ferry to Chikubushima, an island in the middle of the lake. You'll be greeted by lush flora and fauna. It's perfect for nature lovers! Then we'll venture deeper into this small island to visit the Hogon-ji Buddhist temple and the Itsukusuma Shinto shrine.
