Explore the Doi Inthanon National Park on a full-day tour from Chiang Mai. Visit the highest point in Thailand, the King and Queen Pagodas, and the Wachiratharn Waterfall. Trek through the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail and visit the Hmong Market.
After being picked up from your hotel in Chiang Mai, drive for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to Doi Inthanon National Park. Visit the highest point in Thailand, the park high humidity and cold weather all year round (highest spot 2565 meters above sea level).
Visit the King and Queen Pagodas which have beautiful views and pleasant gardens. Enjoy lunch before exploring the park with a local hilltribe guide. Trek to the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail for about 2 hours.
Visit the Rak Jung Waterfall if you wish, and swim in the water (depending on weather conditions and water levels). Walk through the forest and small local farms on the hillside, and learn about different plants and trees.
See the rice fields layer mountains at Ban Mae Klang Luang (rice fields depend on the season). Finish your trek in the white Karen hill tribe village with a cup of freshly ground, locally grown coffee.
Visit the Hmong Market and the Wachiratharn Waterfall. Then, head back to your hotel in Chiang Mai, where you will be dropped off.
**Pickup time will be between 7:00-7:30 am. And drop off approximately 18:00pm.
