We'll meet at 10:00 am in Montenerodomo where, after parking our cars, we'll introduce ourselves and the guide will have the opportunity to present the day's activities.
We'll take the Monti Carricini Trail for a short 3.5 km round trip hike to the crest of Monte di Maio, where we'll take a short break to admire the scenery. After heading back along the same stretch, we'll return to the cars to meet up at the agriturismo at 11:20 a.m. Here we'll find a spot outside the structure under the trees (or inside depending on the weather) ready for the cheese-making workshop lasting about an hour. We'll be busy curdling the fresh milk to make a fresh cheese while we listen to some interesting facts about cheese-making, particularly about the traditional “Cacio Morra”. At the end of the workshop, we'll enjoy a light lunch of local farmhouse specialties, with drinks and coffee included. The experience will end at 3:00 pm after visiting the farm animals. At the end of the activity, you can visit the archaeological site of Iuvanum (not included in the price)
