Overview

  • A Char Dham tour is a spiritually significant Hindu pilgrimage to four sacred Himalayan shrines in Uttarakhand: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The journey is believed to purify the soul and is traditionally completed in a clockwise direction, starting from Yamunotri and ending at Badrinath. The best time to visit is typically during the summer (April-June) and autumn (September-November), as the shrines remain closed during winter months due to heavy snowfall.
